Desmond Duguay
Desmond Duguay is the Designated Broker and Owner of Amnet Realty in Turner, Maine. Having grown up in Turner and graduated from Leavitt Area High School, Desmond brings deep local knowledge and lifelong ties to the community he serves. He later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from the University of Maine, building the analytical foundation that supports his approach to real estate today.
Desmond began his career in the industry as a Loan Officer with American Mortgage Market, Inc., giving him a strong understanding of financing, underwriting, and the broader mechanics of a real estate transaction. He later transitioned into sales and played a key role in building Amnet Realty from the ground up. This combined experience in lending and brokerage allows him to guide clients through both the financial and strategic sides of buying and selling property.
With nearly two decades of experience, Desmond is known for providing clear communication, thoughtful advice, and steady leadership throughout the transaction process. He believes informed clients make better decisions and takes pride in educating buyers and sellers so they can move forward with confidence.
Desmond has served the industry in multiple leadership roles, including President of the Androscoggin Valley Board of REALTORS®, Treasurer for the Mountains to Shore Board of REALTORS®, and a Director for Maine Listings.
Outside of real estate, Desmond values time with his family. He and his wife Amy, a teacher at Turner Primary School, are raising their two children, Brooks and Remi, in the same community Desmond proudly serves. Whether skiing at Sugarloaf or enjoying the outdoors across Maine, family and community remain central to his life.

Desmond is great! Plain and simple. My wife and I were moving from out of state and didn’t know the area at all. Desmond discussed the good areas and was very transparent about the areas around the houses that we found. We looked for quite a while and he never had any issue showing us a house/property. I appreciated the way that he looked at a house over FaceTime with us, as if he were looking at it for himself. He never pushed us to go after any house and had a great amount of knowledge for what houses may end up going for; enabling us to put forth a competitive offer without going way over what the other prospective buyers were bidding. We had a couple of unsuccessful offers due to the market, but in the case end, one of our offers was accepted at list price. I greatly appreciate Desmond and his team and we could not have made this happen without his team and assistance. His father is also a mortgage broker, so it was a one stop shop once I reached out to Desmond. I would recommend him and his team to anyone in state or out of state. He’s very honest.
